Class Speakers: Equestrian Team

A sport that I was never familiar with caught some interest when the Equestrian Team came up and talked to the class. The only time I have seen a Horseback riding team is TV and to know that my college is a very lucky school to have this kind of event. The lovely ladies talked about their horses and  how is it like at having them at school. Some of the girls have been riding for a long time. One of the riders said her father wanted her to do a different sport besides basketball and lacrosse so he signed her up for Horseback riding. Even though it looks all fine and princess like they said that it is extremely hard work and you have to be dedicated to be a good rider. I wish the Equestrian event field was closer to campus because they could get a lot of support from their fellow students and have a team to cheer them on.
